I'm a midwestern girl taking a break from her roots to discover what it's like to live in different parts of the U.S. No matter where I am, I am always cooking, and I love sharing my recipes with others.

What I Cook

Simple recipes that have enough ingredients for flavor and take little time to prepare are my favorite. I think about the nutritional properties of nearly all recipes and try to find ways to maximize healthfulness and flavor. I also greatly enjoy baking, and I am a firm believer that everyone deserves something sweet at the end of the day just for making it through. No food is off limits as long as everything is in moderation.

Who Am I?

I hail from the land of Kansas, where wheat is abundant and hills are not. I study nutrition at Cornell University, and food is part of nearly every aspect of my life. I love farmer's markets and the great outdoors, laughing and being goofy with friends, and being as active as I can. Getting the most out of life is my ultimate goal, and nothing can stop me from having fun.
